These days, anxiety has taken over the world and all its inhabitants. We all are affected by the numerous issues and problems of life which naturally result in lack of sleep. To overcome this problem, people have developed multiple remedies and solutions out of which 90% are just hoaxes and the remaining 10% are just a common sense or luck but there is no proved theory behind it.
Some say ‘shower before bed and you will fall asleep in no time’ while some other suggest things like early sleep time, reading before sleep, drink hot milk before bed, count backwards and even the things like brush hair for better flow of blood in your hair as this will help you fall asleep sooner.
But in reality, several factors could be the reason of this lack of sleep at night and they could vary with every individual. We need to understand the reason before suggesting a solution of it.
We think that following aspects could be few of the reasons:
Unsuitable bed
The most important thing required for a good night’s sleep is a suitable bed as per your body’s need, physique and stature. If you are uncomfortable in your bed because of its height etc., you are bound to be uneasy and have broken sleep throughout the night.
Illness or medication
When we have pain in any part of our body, our entire body stays restless because we are too concentrated on the pain. Just like that if we are ill, sick or are suffering from some kind of disease then that could be the reason of our lack of sleep. In this illness, sometimes even doctor prescribe you a pill for your treatment that can have the side effects like pushing your sleep away and you stay awake or hyper all night.
Addiction of Gadgets
Irrespective of our age, in this era of technology, we all have an addiction to gadgets which could be a major reason for the lack of sleep at night because our cell phones, iPods, tablets and laptops keep us enough busy even at night that we willingly compromise our sleep.
